I GOT INTO SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY! WHOOO! This is great because SU was the one I was most looking forward to hearing from because a) Tuition Exchange, I need to be accepted in order to receive it, b) SU was/is definitely my top choice and c) I applied to the Pre-Law program at Maxwell, so I took more initiative at SU than at any of the other colleges. So this is good.
I have also been invited to attend a pre-college, month long preparatory program at Cambridge, in England. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to act elite all summer, despite what my Zurich liaisons might suggest*.
On a different note, I'm going to be quite busy in the coming weeks/month/??? and have decided to ween myself off of the internet, including LJ (but not AIM or e-mail). I say this not to "let you down easy" on the fact that I won't be posting, but rather that I won't be reading your posts, which is the only way I find out about anything these days. So actual, physical communication would be very much appreciated. I will however, continue to make posts that contain subject matter that causes me to write "whoo" ecstatically and in caps.
