(no subject)
hmm...so i had an odd weekend. even for me. lol
I was babysitting my cousins with my mom and ta on friday night. of course im not really sure why they were there. i did practically everything. did they change a diaper? heck no. that wouldve been my job. haha. I will say it's nice that when logan woke up from her nap and tatum went in to get her she asked for "mommy" first and when tatum told her mommy wasnt there she asked for "aubwey". i love how something o simple as that can put a huge smile on my face. Its nice to feel wanted sometimes. ya know?
so anyway. the rest of the babysitting went fine. and then we passed the job to julie and her kids on saturday morning and went shopping. we spent like 5 or 6 hours looking for outfits for the wedding and rehearsal this coming weekend. and i was once agian pleasantly surprised by one of my cousins. Judie was pretty quiet the whole time, but once it was just her and i, we had fun. i dont think ive laughed that hard with her ever. and to think, she's only 9. she's going to be so much fun when she grows up. not that she isnt fun right now, but she'll be more as she gets older im sure.
today i tried to sleep in. didnt happen. i woke up, made myself chocolate chip pancakes and had a productive day. got all my chores done, painted my nails, messed around with my hair, and finished all my homework. THATS pretty rare lately.
so yeah, i was oddly surprised that the weekend i wasnt looking forward to turned out to be pretty awesome. im definitely learning to appreciate the little things in life.
