I've been rereading HBP these past few days and have come across Horcrux theories

We know the Dark Lord's aim was a seven part soul, NOT to make seven horcruxes, so the most there could have been was six

That would all make sense, except for the last part, where you mention the trio making an alliance with Snape to learn more about the horcruxes. As we all know, Harry wants to kill Snape, because he believes Snape is truly loyal to the Dark Lord and not Dumbledore. So, he'd have to learn the truth and how to trust Snape. (I believe Hermione will have something to do with that, she's the much more logical of the three.)
