we lost to T.O.H.S.'s football team tonight. ...and the thing is...it wouldn't have been so bad if they had creamed us. but, NO... we had to have lost at the LAST MINUTE by just a couple points.
oh well. what's done, is done.
...our first competition is tomorrow!!! i'm so nervous! and i just learned that the competition is an hour and a half away. i need to be in the band room at 9:45 so i can polish the tubas and such. and we aren't coming back until late. really late, like after midnight. ...some of it's pretty boring though. it's cool watching the other bands perform, but in the meantime, we're doing basics and practicing and warming up, and, above all, waiting. ...the band just sits there and waits....so i need to bring a book (especially for the hour and a half bus ride there).
but...anyways...wish us uck! and...wish ME luck and hope that i don't trip and fall on my face! lol
