(no subject)
i meant to update yesterday and then i forgot. typical me. but yesterday at the pool was really great. it was friday so the kids were having a little bit of trouble listening, but still not so bad. i tested the older kids on diving and most of them could do it already but there were a few that either didnt know how or weren't too good at diving. i pulled them aside and taught them how. the best part was, not only did they learn how to dive, they genuinely wanted to learn and they were paying attention and asking questions and practicing. it was amazing. this job is turning out to be very rewarding and i love it.
in other news, last night i went out to panera and coldstone with bec and squeak and then we went to squeaks house and ended up smoking hookah. but then i sneezed and all of a sudden my throat hurt and my nose was runny. i thought nothing of it but i kept waking up last night to blow my nose and then this morning my throat still hurt and my nose was all stuffy and i'm just all sicky. which sucks. i'm keeping medicated and taking my vitamins and all that good stuff but i want it to go away now.
diane bbq tomorrow. i hope i'm feeling better for it.
