"Elijah? I can't bloody stand the bastard," Dom will say calmly out of nowhere, one night in front of the TV.

"What?" Billy will say, although he thinks he might know what Dom's talking about. He often does, he has discovered in the past, even when he thinks he doesn't. On the other hand, Dom's explanations fascinate him and often cause him to nearly retch laughing; so he pretends to misunderstand. Billy also likes the little crease in Dom's forehead when he's thinking and the way Dom's hands fly around when he's talking. Mind you, he doesn't like having to rescue glasses and beer bottles when Dom knocks them over, but life is full of give and take.

Dom will explain, and often Billy will find that Dom means the exact opposite, but is not prepared to actually say what he means. It's either part of Dom's charisma or something that really irritates him. He's not quite sure yet.

Dom will say to him, in the store, that he doesn't need anything in his fridge. Okay, Billy will think and head for the milk aisle. He will pick up two jugs, out of habit.

Sure and when they get back to Dom's place, he'll be out of everything. Including milk. So Billy will graciously give up one of his gallons, pretending he hadn't bought one for Dom in the first place. Dom won't notice until he goes to make coffee the next Monday before heading to the set, extra strong with cinnamon, and there is milk for his coffee. In Feet he will tell Billy that he'd left his milk in Dom's fridge, but that Dom had drank some.

"Don't worry about it," Billy will say, waving a hand. "I've got more at home."

And Dom will drop the matter.

Later that night, Dom will show up at Billy's door with three beers and a fifth of Guinness. Billy will tell Dom, again, that he hates Guinness.

"Not really? A Scot who hates Guinness?" Dom will say and grin, just a little. That night in front of the TV, Billy will get through three beers, while Dom will drink approximately a third of the Guinness before falling asleep on Billy's lap. As always.

-

Orlando will, inevitably, get drunk on Friday night. "It's a long-standing tradition," he will say loftily, when asked, before collapsing in giggles. Depending on the cast roster at the bar that night, Billy may have other help to drag him home, or he may not. Either way, he will take Dom with him, because a passed-out Orlando is too much for Billy to handle alone. He's too long in the leg.

"Give me a hand here, Dom," Billy will grunt, trying to maneuver Orlando through his front door. Orlando is not cooperating; his legs will flop all over the place and Billy will realize that he had never known 'dead weight' was such an accurate term.

"Hmmm... how about no?" Dom will grin at himself even as he will move forward to grab Orlando behind the knees. Billy will glare, Dom will laugh, and Orlando... Orlando will flop.

-

Eventually, Billy will get fed up with Dom. He will pull Dom inside the door, slam it shut and push Dom against it, trapping Dom there with his body. The Guinness and two beers will fall to the floor unharmed. The last beer will shatter, spraying foam all over Billy's foyer.

Dom will look at Billy puzzledly until Billy grinds their hips together, making it perfectly obvious that he's incredibly happy to be where he is. He will also stare at Dom's throat hungrily until Dom laughs, which will make him look up. Dom will then grin at Billy.

"I hate you," he will say.

And Billy will laugh.

"I know."
