once (I was in between school and university, i.e. about seventeen-eighteen years old) my mom's friend, phsycologist, had told me that if I want to write I have to have experience of life. I'd just brushed it aside - "I'm writing fantastics, so I do not need life experience".
As times goes by I realised that it's absolute true - I hadn't liked my own stories until I've found situations where I actually had emotional or any other experience.
