I'm highly impressed that you had a go at writing a Sentinel story when English isn't your first language. The set-up is definitely scary, plus you had a feel for the guys' speech rhythms.

I'll take my courage in my hands and offer beta for this story, if you would be happy with that. Although, while I'm an English speaker, I'm not American, so I could still lead you astray. :-)

Oh, thank you very much, I was nervous about it.
Thank you for your offer - it'll be very nice of you and as a matter of fact I prefer British English (I was taught British english as well and studied English literature at the university) so it won't be problem. It's just I read more American fics than english recently and my "language' ear" a bit confused

I think this is a very good story and although, yes, you have some errors of grammar, I'm still full of admiration at how well you write in a second language.

This was deliciously spooky and tense and I enjoyed it very much.

I'll be very glad to send you my stories for beta, I have some in the process - I've begun to write it in Russian but realised since we haven't Sentinel fandom it will be more interesting to write in english for those who could appreciate it.
