These are all for Tara's birthday, because I love her a ridiculous amount.

Title: Incognito
Pairing: Koyama/Tegoshi
Rating: G
Summary: Tegoshi and Koyama go to take anniversary pictures.

It's their first anniversary, and the place where Koyama and Tegoshi took purikura on their very first date has gone the route of many other such shops and barred boys from entering unless accompanied by at least one girl. This creates quite the conundrum for the sentimental pair of romantics, because anywhere else is Just Not Good Enough because it doesn't come with the memories.

After worrying about it and loitering outside the store for far too long, Tegoshi - the more impatient of the two - eventually cracks.

"Never mind, Kei-chan. We can find somewhere else. We'll still get pictures, right?"

"It's not the same," Koyama says in a tiny voice, staring longingly into the store. "This is where we took our first ever pictures as a couple."

Tegoshi bites his lip. He feels the same and he's unaccustomed to not getting his own way, but he can't see how to solve this.

"We could ask a girl to go in with us?" He suggests. "Not be in the pictures, but just take us in. Your sister knows about us, right?"

Koyama nods, but seems unenthusiastic. "She's taken Ren and Haru to see their grandparents this weekend, so she's not around."

Tegoshi sighs. There's that plan shot down.

"That's all we need. Just one girl. Then we'd be fine."

"Yeah..." Koyama seems to be giving him a shifty look. "Just one girl."

After being friends for 9 years and dating for one, Tegoshi knows Koyama quite well by now. It helps that they're actually more alike than people think, and so Tegoshi knows that his expression right now is bad news.

"Whatever you're thinking, no," he says firmly.

But if most people can't say no to Tegoshi, Tegoshi can't say no to Koyama's pleading face, and an hour and a half later, they're walking into the purikura booth without even a glance from the staff.

"I can't believe you talked me into this," Tegoshi grumbles, adjusting his summer dress and fake cleavage. "You're so awful, Kei-chan."

Koyama is too busy inserting coins into the machine to take notice, humming a cheerful tune to himself as he selects backgrounds.

"It's okay, Tego. We'll take them from the waist up," he assures him.

"I have boobs!" Tegoshi whines. "That's not going to help."

Koyama continues to pointedly ignore him. Ironically, when Tegoshi's friends see the pictures later, none of them seem to notice that anything is different.

Title: Bright Side of Life
Pairing: Masuda/Shige
Rating: PG
Summary: In which Shige is the positive one for once.

Massu hates being sweaty. He abides by the laws of cleanliness, and so summer is consequently a difficult time for him. It's hot and humid and he constantly feels sticky, gross and like he needs to have a shower every other moment of the day.

Shige, on the other hand, doesn't mind summer nearly as much. When asked, he says that it's because every season has its charms, and when they're freezing in the winter, they'll miss the heat of August. There's plenty of delicious fruit and vegetables that are in season, and lots of cold dishes that definitely taste their best during the hottest months. It's unusual for Shige to be so much more positive about something than Massu, everyone says, but he just shrugs it off.

There's another reason that eclipses all others, but he doesn't mention it as he admires the view as Massu lounges around shirtless and flushed, patting himself down with a damp towel. Suffice to say, Shige's pretty glad it's summer.

Title: Back Route
Pairing: Koyama/Ryo
Rating: PG
Summary: All-You-Can-Drink beer is never a good idea, unless you're Koyama

Tegoshi is known within NEWS as the truly competitive member, but when it comes down to it, they're all young men, and young men are known world wide for being stupidly competitive. And that is probably why it was a really bad idea from the get-go for Koyama and Ryo to attend an hour long all-you-can-drink session for 800 yen each.

"I know a good restaurant," Ryo had told Koyama when they'd found out they were both getting off work early. "We should go and have dinner."

Koyama had agreed, and off they'd gone, only to be faced at the entrance by the sign that would soon seal their fate.

To make a profit, they'd realised, they would have to drink 4 beers each in the space of an hour, and the idea of food was soon forgotten in the stead of making the most of their money.

At first it had started as a competition with the clock, but eventually it had turned into a competition with each other to see who could down more in the shortest space of time after Ryo had teased Koyama about being slow.

They steadily got more and more drunk, friendly banter turning into barely veiled flirting about how Ryo had a big mouth.

Once their hour was up, it was Ryo who came out on top, albeit a bit wobbly on his feet, at 6 and 3/4 beers, while Koyama had only managed 5 and a half.

Fortunately, Koyama was a good loser and accepted Ryo's victory with a smile and nod and an offer of lodging at his place for the night since it was closer and Ryo clearly couldn't walk in a straight line. It was pretty obvious from the way Koyama couldn't keep his hands to himself that the competition wasn't the first thing on his mind anymore anyway.

And besides, when they came into work the next day and Ryo's ass hurt too much to sit down, it was clear who the real winner was.

Title: Under Wraps
Pairing: Koyama/Shigeaki
Rating: G
Summary: People wonder just how far Koyama and Shige's relationship goes

There are a good handful of fans who wonder if the KoyaShige 'almost gay' stage persona crosses over into Koyama and Shige's real lives. There are even more who speculate on the limits of the joke, wonder exactly how far they'll push the boundaries.

The truth is that they're not sure either. It's all a joke, they know that much, but it's become an unconcious one; they talk about each other the same way their friends talk about the people they're dating; clean each others' faces when they get grains of rice stuck there; hold hands without really thinking about it in public places.

It's hard to know if the act has just crossed over into their real lives, or if it never was an act in the first place, just a big best friend in-joke they've always had that management decided to capitalise on.

Whatever it is, it carries on until the day they manage to share an accidental kiss, Shige turning his face too close to Koyama's, lips brushingly gently together. It quickly moves from accidental to intentional, and suddenly nothing is a joke anymore and everything makes sense.

They let the fans continue to wonder, though, because even if nothing else is, this is something for them alone.
