(no subject)
Ah, SO sorry it's been this long since my last post. Since then I've been sick, though not enough to miss school, and made up some work in French so that I'm not QUITE failing... but I don't know what'll happen, considering that interims come out Tuesday. Fabulous.
I didn't get to make Becky's cake (for tap), because, as it turns out, the supplier I was planning on going to is closed the whole weekend. Coincidentally, I went to a different one today. Higher prices, bah!
Yesterday, Mum and I were planning a weekend away together. I was cleaning my room so we could leave around 4, but all of a sudden I just felt... I dunno, weird. Different. It was scary. Then I got all depressed (ah, teenage hormones), and decided that I really just wanted some family time. So I talked to my mom, and we decided to have home Special Time instead. Great decision, really. We got to talk a lot, because I haven't been seeing her that much lately. At least, it doesn't feel like it. Blurg. So, we went out for Sushi (YUM!!), and got a soft-shell crab and veggie tempura plate for an appetizer. Then, for the main course, we got this HUUUGE platter of sushi and sashimi. It was so unbelievably good. Yummmmmmyyyy!! :)
We got dessert at La Madeleine, and I came up with a new word! "Snoob." It's a noun. Snoob describes a person that's a snob about snobs. ;) Take a moment.
Then we came home and build a gingerbread house. Fun, fun, fun. Still, it really makes me realize how much I need a BOYFRIEND!! Or want? Once again, those teenage hormones.
