What a wonderful day!

Today was just a good day. :) For one, I got to sleep in a bit, then I had graham crackers to keep me awake during English. We had a sub in class, and he was very nice and sympathetic, so I got TWO drinks of water. He gave us more vocab words from the alchemist, and that's DEFINITELY my forte in English.

Then I went to French for 2nd Block and it sucked, but I was in my PJ's so at least I was comfy! :) :) :) The teacher gave us assigned seats and she just haaaad to plop me right in front of her desk. Crazy old fart.

Anyway, then I had lunch, and I didn't have any homework to finish so I ate lunch with Sarah + company and went to get a couple cookbooks from the library. Tuscan Italian cooking, and Ottoman/Middle Eastern cooking. Both look veeery promising! The only complaint I have is that there aren't more books in the Marshall cooking section. Bleh, perhaps I'll talk to the librarians. Oh, and Stephen, I haven't forgotten about the dinner I owe. I need to learn how to manage my time better, first, though.

Then I had Gym. Mrs. Plaugher is a very interesting person... she never smiles, and I picked up on that the first day of class with her. She smiles and laughs around other teachers, but never around us. So far, I've made her smile at least twice, and laugh two or three times. She looks a lot less menacing when she DOES smile. Anyway, we warmed up and ran the mile, which I passed with flyyyying colours! I told myself I'd be perfectly happy with a score between 8:30 and 8:00 minutes, but I ended up with a 7:42!!! Awesomeness. Then we had the sit-up fitness test, and I got 48 in a minute. Lastly, we had to do the Push-up test, and I got a 21. All of my scores were above the expected range for girls in the fitness zone sheety things, but now I'm SOOO tired. Yesterday we went on a 5-hour hike at the Billy Goat Trail for my Dad's 50th birthday, and it was loads of fun but I'm still quite pooped from that.

Then I had Geometry, where we got our interim grades. Mine was a B+ (91 some %) because I didn't do parts of my homework, and I completely screwed over a quiz at the beginning. But then we got back our logic quizzes today and MaryKate, Bobby, and I got 54 out of 50, 108%. I was so happy about it!

On the bus ride home I looked over the Middle East cook book and I can't wait to try out some of the recipes... lamb kebabs, honey yogurt, apricot nectar... yummy delicious goodness!

That 's about all there is to tell, but I'd love to hear about your day in the comments section if you feel so inclined!

Wish me luck with my audition tomorrow! Anna :)
