Callbacks

I'm supposed to be writing a sonnet for English, but I realized halfway through that I didn't have my notebook. Smart Anna left it in her desk in Geometry, after her quiz was done. Man, how many times have I done that this year?! Way too many. Now Ms. Jensen's gonna think I'm slacking off because I was sick. Hm... I could tell her I was swamped with make up work anyway, but it was only two days. I don't know. I'll end up being honest with her, probably, because I always am. Oh, well.

History today was pretty sweet. We had our own Paris Peace Treaty (after WWI) and Sarah, Greg, and I were Poland. It was just so interesting how nationalistic people became with their countries. Yes, nationalistic, Jennifer, not nationalist.

Callbacks today went pretty well, considering I was called back for company. I didn't sing much, just a bit from the opening number, but the lady let me sing the whole part, and didn't stop me early like with some other people. Sarah got called back, too, that was good, but Jennifer didn't, even though I thought she did very well with her audition. Afterwards, I ate an oatmeal cookie pie thing from the vending machines, and couldn't quite place the texture of the icing. Then I realized what it was (after I was done): Crisco. That icing is sugar and fat. Speaks for itself.

I'm soooo tired. I violated my IM Lent promise, but I really wanted to get online. And it turns out, of all the nights, this was the right one! Isn't it so amazing how things work out like that? Two weeks, to the day, I hadn't signed on, and now I get on and someone wants to talk to me? So I do have a purpose after all!

Tomorrow I'll be so tired. :P  But for a good reason.

Anna
