haiti strikes back (copy pasted email)
hello my lost haitian connections! it is very weird to be back and have haiti haunting you over and over again even one year later.. it is very weird to post cheerful pictures on facebook while trying to understand why a younger brother of my friend in haiti was killed brutally.. my friend himself (who was a photography student) was attacked a month ago and shot lightly and his camera was stolen..he takes photos and some bandits don't like it.. they dont like it so much that they tortured and killed his brother, his kid brother..it is very difficult to understand this sitting in a comfortable chair on another end of the world .. could be even more difficult to understand if i would be in the same country... but somehow i felt like i need to share this, life is not a UN protected illusion and haiti sucks big time, and i hate it, sorry to say this..
