Muscadine Slushies?

I'm at my grandma's this weekend dining on home cooked meals and attempting to relax.
I have to say that I've lived in the South for 20 years and I mean, I've seen some pretty crazy stuff.
(This includes the opinions of somewhat illogical people as well.)
I however have never heard of anyone trying to sell muscadine slushies...until this morning.

If you don't know what a muscadine is it's sort of like a tiny tough skinned grape.

I've never actually had one but apparently they're common as wines or jellies.
Still this does not answer why someone thought that making these small berries into an icy drink was a good idea. Perhaps it is. It's still strange to me.

In other news, I'm worried about paying back my student loans for my brief stint in college.
I wish I hadn't gotten them. It would have been better for me if I hadn't.
I have to call the office for the loan place so I can figure out exactly what I have to pay.
The papers they sent a couple of months ago still don't make sense to me now.

My mother sort of broke down on me the other day about it.
She's worried. I know that. I know she's my mom but I wish she wouldn't worry.

Meh. All in all though I'm pretty good. I haven't been depressed (other than the mom incident) and it's been good. I've felt better.

I'm also working on a comic storyline in my head. Hmm. Mayhaps it shall one day appear.

student loans, maybe artses, muscadine slushies?
