We’re into our house. It’s in Marysville kind of by the high school. It’s cute… 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage. I feel like an adult. It’s weird. We had a garage sale last weekend and I made a killing. It was really nice to finally go through all my old stuff from childhood/teenage years. I have tried to go all through it before, but I could never let go. I was finally totally cool with getting rid of everything.
It’s so weird to be back where I grew up,. Luckily I don’t really see people we went to school with, because that is my worst fear. It’s just awkward to see someone from high school. You know you know them, but half the people I don’t even remember how well I knew them or not. High school has faded to such a slight memory, and I kind of like it that way. So to sum it up, yes I am one of those people that pretends not to see someone in the grocery store. Lol
Work has been incredibly slow. My boss decided to go to work for a different company, so the owner decided to replace her position with 4 new employees. I could have done her job, but instead I have to train people that make more money that me to do her job. It’s kind of annoying. But now, we’re just so slow that there is nothing to do. Hence the LJ update 36 minutes after I have arrived at work. We laid off all but three guys out in the field and who knows when we will see them back. We have work on the books, so it isn’t like the business is going down, but it is just a super slow period.
I can’t wait until the election is over. I’m tired of hearing about politics. Call me naive or whatever you want, but I just don’t care. How many people truly research their candidates and truly know all there is to know about each one… practically no one. So you must consider 98% of the people voting are just going off what the news tells you to do, or what a celebrity stands up and tries to tell you to do. And I know they tell you not to have this theory, but what does my ONE vote matter anyway? It doesn’t! And if someone feels that way about their vote, perhaps you SHOULDN’T encourage them to vote. Anyway…I am tired of those “You don’t know Dino” commercials on channel 4 too. Not that I am for or against Dino, but those commercials are so frickin’ annoying and they run them every other commercial. “Wait, I know how I will win an election! I will just spend my time bashing my other opposite instead of telling you what I believe or don’t believe. Yay! Great idea!” Politics are like a cheap game. And no one candidate is going to support everything that you believe in.
Nacho is growing like a weed. He went through a very troubled time where just about everyone wanted to kill him, but now he’s really starting to grow up. He pretty much sleeps through the night. He might get up once to pee, but then goes right back to bed. Him and the cat wrestle all the time. It’s super funny. Nacho still doesn’t really like strangers still, and I am not quite sure how to help that matter. It’s really embarrassing when he goes crazy on people. He’d probably benefit from some of those puppy classes.
Well, now I am tired of typing. I thought it would be more exciting than this.. haha
