Yeah, so Yukimura-san wiped the court with me. So what? Like to see one of you play him. He was all gentleman-like and sat on the bench while I sprawled on the clay and tried to remember how to breathe. Even brought me water after I puked. And~ sprang for ice cream after even though I lost and I was supposed to be the one to pay. Great game. *__*

Are you feeling any better, An-chan?

Oh, sure! I want to play you again!

Well, maybe in a few days. Ahah. ^_^

I'm baking Christmas cookies tomorrow. Would you like to come over? You can help me ride herd on Akaya so he doesn't gobble up the dough before they're cooked.

You do?

I'd at least let your injuries heal before thinking that :)

That would be lovely! Shall I bring some ingredients over? Hahaha, it only takes a stern warning usually, I think ;) What time would you like me there?

'Course! I mean, I really, really, really hate the dying and barfing part, but each time I play you I get that much better. Besides, it's fun! ^_^

Yeah, yeah. I know the drill. May not always adhere to it in my case~ but I know it.

If you want. Oh, no warnings! That's not half so much fun as out-maneuvering him. Five-ish? You're welcome to stay for dinner.

I can imagine, almost. I'm glad you had fun though :)

Mn~

I'll try to get some appropriate fillings and icing to use then. Tickling? I think that might be useful. Five will be fine :) Thank you.

Who was the toughest person you ever played? Before you got to your level, I mean? I bet you have some great stories.

That was the hardest thing about being captain last year. I had to set an example. Darn it.

Hee! If you tickle him, he'll get that deer in the headlights look and melt clean away. Thank you. Fair warning, I plan on stuffing Akaya with sweets and caffeine. You might want to bring a net.

The toughest? I may have to think on that a little. But probably, I've faced quite a few people :)

Oh dear. I can understand that, after all.

A net? I'm not sure if I have one big enough haha. But I think tickling is the best idea.

I bet! Last year, I started playing in the JTA. It's let me play lots of people from all over and different ages. I've learned a lot.

Yeah. Hated it~

You could use a couch throw? Hah. Poor Akaya.

That's lovely. It's always better to get experience from different players.

Ah?

"Couch throw"?

I know. I play you guys any chance I can, but this gives me even more. And that's good, 'cause I may have to drop the team this year because I have to work. JTA's as much work, but it's easier to mesh my schedule to it.

You know, being able to do everything you ask your team to do and then some. Stuff like being able to do more suicides than anyone else--enough so you hardly break a sweat when they're all dying. Not playing injured. Junk like that.

An afghan. I think Ginny would object if you hurled one of her sofas around.

I see. I think I'd rather my grades drop in school than quit the team.

Ah, I see. I never really had that problem, I don't think.

Haha oh dear, I'm not sure if I'd be able to throw a couch anyway.

I mean real work--making money work. To pay my way. And that means working after school and nights, which doesn't leave time for club activities.

You have a bunch of dedicated players around you. I inherited a team of fluff for brains who were more interested in the boys' football team that practiced at the same time we did. Had to weed the good from the bad. Amazing how many of the bad ones quit after you work them 'till they puke in front of their crush. Anyway, that's my philosophy. Don't ask a teammate to do something you can't or won't do. You should see my training routine. ^_^

It'd be pretty ungainly.

Oh you mean so you can pay Ginny-san for living with her, or?

I didn't always. In the first year I only knew Renji to begin with - everyone was more jealous than dedicated to be honest. I'm glad things have changed though.

Indeed :)

Um, well, yeah. Until I make enough to get my own place. This is temporary.

I bet jealousy made them want to be better. I had to separate the pearls from the sand. It was worth it. I left them a good team to build on. ^_^

I see. Good luck with that then :)

Perhaps :) I bet it made you want to give up at times too - it shows dedication when you pull through sommething like that.
