So, Bob in his infinite (?) wisdom (?) saw fit to dump me and Akira into Tokyo Bay on our return trip from Narnia. I am still pulling seaweed out of my hair. >_<

You really like them? The captain was really nice and gave us a bag of coins (that we split). It was more than we thought, and it was really funny, but the people there were fascinated by the stuff from our world. I don't know how many tennis balls I gave away.

The only hard things to carry were the bow and Kippei's drum. I put the bow over my shoulder and tied the drum to my belt.

Anyway, the people there don't think of it as craftsmanship, just everyday stuff.

You talked about archery so much. I don't know how good the bow is, but the scabbard thingy (is that what it's called?) is beautiful. You like? ^_^ I thought you might.

Come on, he likes that sort of thing. Have a little faith. You might be surprised. The unicorn reminded me of him a bit.

It's not old. It's practically brand new and meant to be used.

Awesome! Akira kept getting challenged to races. And he kept winning! Don't tell, but I bet on him each time. He's super fast. The place that had the books was all wonderful dusty/booky. We explored a cave along the beach and found a something special.

That, too. But even if he has to learn, it shouldn't be too bad. It's not as loud as a guitar.

^_^ You're the only one I could think of who'd laugh about that. I should give you a thumb for not saying something like, "hope it was extra large."

I SAW! YAY!

No kidding. Tokyo Bay is nasty. We'll probably turn into swamp monsters just from being in it. Ahah. Sorry?

A lot of it came just from talking to people. They were really interested in the gear I had in my bag. I could have brought home a lot more if I'd been willing to trade away my best racket. As it is I might have lost my uniform jacket. >>

You keep teasing me! You know it drives me nuts!

[[ooc: I know it was a lot of stuff. That's what I get for going on a picture hunting spree. Oh, I found some lovely photos of shells. I also thought maybe something really unusual, like a nautilus shell?

Aaaand, part of An's surprise is a racy little number she picked up from the gypsy lady, partly just for Akira and also there's that dare from so long ago.... Tasteful, but naughty.]]

^_^ Really? You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it. It wasn't quite what I imagined, but I liked the griffon because it reminded me of Narnia. So silly!
