I found a buyer for our my PS3, so between that and selling the Wii and some money I had stashed away, I was finally able to come up with that whopping 92242.56 yen. I think that should cover the debt. So I got a cashier's check and bundled it up with other stuff I needed to return. That's a load off.
With that in mind, I made the train trip to Kanagawa. I chickened out at the last minute--I was a little bit nervous about talking to her--so I just left the package with a co-worker. I'm sure the money and stuff will get where it needs to go.
But, cool thing was, I asked Niou-kun if he'd play me a game since I was already down there and he said yes. Then we had ice cream. I hadn't thought about looking for a game down there until I saw him online. I won't improve if I don't play lots of different people.
I lost, but I don't think I did that badly. We had a nice little argument about where "out" is--he plays doubles way too much--or more probably he thought he could pull one over on me. Silly guy. I haven't fallen for that trick since I was eight. Anyway, thanks for the game, Niou-kun.
Next I play Echizen-kun and then Fuji-kun. Feels great!
