Baby Shower
I bet you read Baby Shower and thought, OMG how exciting! I wanna go!!! Well, sorry to be the bringer of bad news but I probably will not have one. Why you may wonder? Because no one in my family wants to give me one. It's either that or no one has enough money to throw me one. I would ask my mom, but she's on house arrest until well after the baby is born (July). A friend of mine wants to throw me one, but she fails to actually call me and discuss things. She's too busy being a 24 year old WHORING DRUNK. She leaves me comments on my MySpace saying how "excited" she is, yet doesn't bother to call me. Last week I texted her about planning the shower, "I'll call you in 2.5" she says...well SHE NEVER DID.
It's like there are three important things in a girls life (at least in my opinion):
1. Senior Prom
2. He baby shower & birth
3. Her wedding shower & actually wedding.
I will never have the chance to experience any of them. Prom for sure is out, unless I dump Valentino and start dating some high school jail bait....THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. The baby shower is obviously out of the question because no body wants to plan one for me. I would just do it myself, but as society dictates FRIENDS & FAMILY ARE SUPPOSED TO THROW IT. I feel like I have no friends. And then my grandma is like "Why do you need a baby shower? I never had one!" Well bitch, that's YOU NOT ME. Now and then are two TOTALLY different time periods.
I dunno, maybe not having a baby shower is for the best. Less stress on me & less disappointment that both sides of my family can't get together. Less "Sorry, I would like to attend but I can't" messages on my voicemail. Val and I will just go it alone as usual.
On a lighter note, I go in for another ultra sound next month. Hopefully they will be able to tell the gender this time! This nurse lady is also coming to my house to go over things like preparing for baby, nutrition, etc. I think it's a good idea to have her come over and give out some advice. Reality is finally hitting me and I am nervous, apprehensive, and SCARED.
Anyways, that's all for now.
