Help?
Hey guys,
I know we haven't really seen each other for a while, but uhh... if anyone is willing to help I'd be forever indebted to you with love. Like serious.
So uhh if you're not aware, I've been interning for this comedy sketch group called "Pork Filled Players" since the end of Spring Qtr in preparations for their production of "Yellow Face".

The show's a mockumentary type of play, written by David Henry Hwang. If you guys don't know him he's a famous Asian American broadway playwright (wrote M.Butterfly). It's mainly about a yellow facing incident he experienced and kind of the controversies surrounding it during the 1990's. The comedy is light, slight, and more serious than funny, but it's not to be taken seriously... at all. Just laugh and have fun~ :)
So, it'd be great if you guys could go, but besides that...
I really need volunteers...

My supervisor made me house manager meaning I'm in charge of hiring ushers to be volunteers on ALL the nights that the show is playing (at least two ushers per night).
The show runs from August 5th (opening night) till September 3rd and it's only shown on Friday's and Saturday's at 8pm, and 2pm matinees on Saturdays.
If ANYONE is available for any number of nights, I'd love you forever. You get the watch the shows for free and if you knew someone who could do it with you for that night it's even better cause then you two could watch together/usher together (I won't be able to watch the show while it's being played).
For ushering you don't really have to do anything except hand out flyers and be able to direct people to the exits in case of emergency.
Yeah. Uber simple.
Only problem is, I don't have any ushers at the moment that I know of. I asked my drama class, but no one has contacted me so far...
and the show is in less than two weeks.
Yeah so... any help would be great. Um, I think everyone already has my number, but uhh let me know?
