dream shoes
last night i had a dream that i was shoe shopping and i found the perfect boots. they were cowboy boots but they were softer and less curly-toed and less high-heeled than cowboy boots. i put them on and they were so perfect and comfortable and i loved them. then there was another pair of shoes that were in the clog family, with wooden soles and red leather on top and they kind of split down the middle from the top down to the toe, which sounds weird because i can't describe it effectively but they were really pretty in my dream. i think i dreamt this because i have not had a pair of shoes that truly fit well or were made well since high school. this might sound like a petty complaint but at my job i walk around all day on a floor that is basically carpeted concrete and we're not allowed to wear sneakers and all last week i had to wear an ace bandage on my ankle because it really hurt. so i need my dream shoes to appear! maybe if i click my heels together? ;)
