IC:

Character name: Wilbur Robinson
Fandom: Meet the Robinsons
Timeline: End of the movie.
Age: 13
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Honestly, nothing. He is just a plain ol' kid from the future.
How would they use their abilities?: He has none.
Appearance: Image for convenience He has the average build for a thirteen year old boy, thin and not particularly tall. He has brown eyes and black hair that is in a somewhat pointy pompadour style. As for clothes, despite being from the future, he has a t-shirt, jeans, and the old American favorite, Converse.
Background/Personality:
Background: Meet the Robinsons is a simple story about an orphan boy who dreams of having a family who loves him and his many inventions. Lewis, the main character, invents a machine that will allow him to see his memories of the past and hopefully help him find his birth mother.

At the science fair, he meets an eccentric boy, Wilbur Robinson, who claims that he is from the future and that Lewis' invention is in danger of being stolen by a man in a bowler hat. Lewis ignores him, saying Wilbur is crazy, and goes about his business. During preparations, Lewis' invention is sabotaged by a robotic bowler hat right before he is about to present it. It ultimately fails causing the science fair to be ruined, and Lewis runs off in anger. His invention is then stolen by the Bowler Hat Guy who takes it to an invention company and tries to pass it off as his own.

Lewis returns to the roof of the orphanage (his favorite spot) where he laments about his failure. While there, Wilbur returns and tries to get Lewis to go back and fix his invention. Lewis becomes angry and says his invention only failed because he was no good. Wilbur tries to explain that the Bowler Hat Guy stole a time machine and came back in time to ruin Lewis' invention. Once again, Lewis doesn't believe Wilbur and dares him to prove all of this is true. Wilbur then throws Lewis off the roof into a waiting time machine and sends them both into the year 2037.

Amazed by the future and the existence of a time machine, Lewis says he won't fix his invention and will instead use the time machine to see his mother instead. Wilbur tries to stop Lewis, but the two of them end up fighting and crashing the machine instead. Wilbur tells Lewis it's his fault and he needs to fix the time machine. Lewis says he will only do it if Wilbur promises to take him back to find his mom. After some thought, Wilbur agrees.

Meanwhile, in the past, the Bowler Hat Guy fails to work the invention, resulting in it completely falling apart. He vows to capture Lewis and have him fix the machine instead.

Back in the future, Wilbur and Lewis arrive at Wilbur's house with the broken time machine. They take it into the garage where they run into the family robot, Carl, who immediately runs off screaming after seeing Lewis. Wilbur throws a hat on Lewis' head telling Lewis that no one can see his hair and then chases after Carl. Lewis accidentally tours the whole house and meets all of Wilbur's family. Wilbur and Carl discuss the plan to restore Lewis' faith in himself. Carl tells Wilbur if this fails, there is a 99% chance Wilbur will no longer exist. Wilbur shrugs it off.

While Lewis attempts to fix the time machine, Wilbur tells the story about his dad, Cornelius Robinson. Cornelius invented everything seen in this future, including the time machine, all while following his motto "Keep Moving Forward". With a little more courage, Lewis finishes his work on the time machine. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work, and Lewis becomes upset again.

The Bowler Hat Guy arrives in the future and attempts to kidnap Lewis with a number of minions. He finally decides on bringing a dinosaur from the past and sets it on Lewis. Wilbur's family risks their lives to protect him, then offer to adopt Lewis. They change their mind, though, when Wilbur knocks off Lewis' hat revealing Lewis' blond hair. Wilbur then tells Lewis he lied about taking him back to find his mother. Lewis runs off in tears and encounters the Bowler Hat Guy. He promises Lewis to take him to see his mother. Against Wilbur's wishes, Lewis agrees.

Lewis and the Bowler Hat Guy return to the old orphanage age where Lewis grew up, and the Bowler Hat Guy reveals himself as Lewis' old roommate whom Lewis would keep up every night while working on inventions. He blames Lewis' for his failed life and also reveals Lewis is actually Cornelius Robinson, making Wilbur his son. Bowler Hat Guy recounts his own back story, including how he met DOR-15 (the robotic bowler hat) who was a failed and abandoned experiment of Cornelius'. They both decided to steal the time machine so they could ruin Lewis' future.

When the Bowler Hat Guy tries to take Lewis' to the time machine, Wilbur and Carl arrive, saving Lewis and escaping, but DOR-15 destroys Carl and steals the invention back. The future then begins to change and Wilbur vanishes. Lewis discovers that the Bowler Hat Guy succeeded in the past and also mass-produced DOR-15, resulting in the human race being turned into slaves. Lewis manages to fix the first time machine and returns to the past to stop the Bowler Hat Guy from signing the contract. He also causes DOR-15 to disappear by promising to never invent her. Lewis takes Bowler Hat Guy to the future, revealing what would've happened had he continued with his plan. The future returns to normal and Wilbur re-materializes. After attacking the Bowler Hat Guy with karate, Lewis says Wilbur should offer to adopt Bowler Hat Guy, but instead the Bowler Hat Guy disappears.

The two boys return to the house and Lewis' meets his older self, Cornelius. Wilbur follows through with his promise and takes Lewis to the past to meet his mother. At the last moment, Lewis changes his mind, telling Wilbur he already has a family who loves him. Wilbur takes Lewis back to his normal time and they say their good-byes. After waking up his roommate during the baseball game to keep him from becoming the Bowler Hat Guy in the future, Lewis returns to the science fair with his new found confidence. This time he tests his machine on the science fair judge, revealing that she is his adoptive mother in the future. The movie ends with him moving into his new home with his new adoptive parents.
Personality: Wilbur is like any normal thirteen year old boy. He does things he is not supposed to and gets in trouble for it, he talks like he knows exactly what he is doing even if he doesn't, he does things without thinking all the way through, but will not think twice about the consequences. Wilbur is a natural leader, using little more than his age as a reason to have authority over those younger than himself. The good parts of his personality include being very encouraging with his natural optimism, being exciting and talkative, being courageous, and being caring toward those who are important to him. The bad parts include being childish when he doesn't get his way or is given orders, lying to get what he wants, and being far too impulsive.

Have you read up on how the game works?: Indeed I have. The plug-in is the FlamingFerret. And you get money by free-lance working, mooching, or missions.

1st person sample: [The guide turns on, upside down at first, but it is quickly, albeit roughly, flipped the correct way.]

Destroyed!? What!? That doesn't even make sense! How does that even happen?

No, no. Relax, Wilbur. You heard what they said. "Don't panic". That's simple enough to follow. [He takes a deep breath and stares at the screen for a moment before pointing directly at it.] I know you can hear me. Someone out there better tell me what's going on.

3rd person sample: This was.. kind of awesome. Aside from the fact that his home and everyone he knew was probably blown up and dead, Wilbur felt like he could not have been brought to a better place. He felt comfortable here. It was almost like home. Everything he looked at seemed so familiar and without even a second thought, he knew exactly what it would be used for. This place was great! He felt like a kid in a candy store. Well, he was a kid, but this certainly wasn't a candy store. Maybe more like a futuristic spaceship invention store. He wanted to see everything.

While the initial excitement was good for a situation like this, eventually the truth began to come down on him. Wilbur was really alone this time. He was used to being around so many people and having a whole family to spend time with, but now.. they were actually gone. Maybe, just maybe, they were as lucky as he was. Maybe they were already here and he just had not found them yet. Wilbur tried to keep that in mind. For now, he would try to make the best out of a terrible situation and get used to what would become his new home.

Questions?: Nope.
Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: Yep.
