So not looking forward to the new NCIS season...

I guess I had forgotten (read: repressed) how much of NCIS was about Tony/Ziva. Then I watched the ET online interview thing, where Sean Murray and Mark Harmon barely got to say anything, because pretty much all the questions were to Cote dePablo (and Michael Weatherly) about Ziva, and Tony/Ziva ( Read more... )

I am terrified of the new season. NCIS is my favorite show, and I'm so afraid that they are going to ruin it. Tony and Ziva have no chemistry at all. Tim was a jerk last year. These are two examples of the "fantastic" season last year that I can do without.

Imo, they pretty much ruined it last season. Now it's just a matter of seeing if they can get back from the depths of crappiness they were in then, or not. Like you say, jerk!Tim and Tony/Ziva everywhere were just two of the things that was wrong with the show last season.

MW has stated over and over again that he's not interested in seeing any romance on the show (unless they wanted to make Gibbs bi-curious ;-). Notice how he spent the whole ET leaning away from CdP while she spent half the time pawing him?

I did notice that, which is why I put Michael within parenthesis above; all the questions were directed to him and CdP, though CdP seemed the most eager to answer them and pawn over MW...

I watched the online version once without the sound. Very, very disturbing to watch their body language and expressions.

I hear you. Sigh. I've gotten to the point where it's not just the idea of a Tony/Ziva romance that pisses me off - it's ANYTHING to do with them. I don't care if they've had a big argument, or he killed her boyfriend, or she sekritly loves him, or they both hate each other or what. I just don't care! It's not what the show is about and never has been. Except now it is. ALL The Time. Every single promo, every single interview, every single spoiler...it's Tiva this or "Tony/Ziva" that. Do they like each other, do they flirt, do they hate each other, will he rescue her, will she comes back....etc etc etc. Ad infinitem!

I DON'T CARE! I just want the show back. And I don't think we'll get it to be honest. I'm fairly convinced I won't be watching for much longer. I'll give S7 a try just to see if they pull it back but it stopped being the show I fell in love with somewhere during S6.

I hope this doesn't affect your Gibbs/Dinozzo fiction muse!!! I re-read the ones you've already written on a rotating basis and am looking forward to many more!!! (hope, hope)

Thank you!

I think it has affected it a bit to be honest :-(. But let's see what they do in S7.

I know I'm feeling wholly uninspired since the last few episodes last season *sigh*

I agree with everything already said. I hope that they do not make this season Tony/Ziva heavy.... Here's hoping...

Safe to say they'll lose their audience if they keep pushing T/Z on us...

I'm sure they have to say that, just like the Bones cast have to say that their show is still great despite it being awful ^^ Doesn't help, though. I'm not sure why MH and SM were even there - they barely got a word in.
