MIchaela went an entire Saturday at home without watching 1 TV show....
oh my gosh! I didn't think it was possible. Michaela didn't watch one show yesterday, and we were home for much of the day.
however, "watching shows" has lost favor. Her newest thing is "songs" on youtube. I think she spent over 2 hours yesterday watching spice girls videos. She can even navigate and pick out a song. Paul will do a basic spice girls search, and then there is a window of "related songs". She scrolls to find the songs she wants. She can recognize them by their first letters. She knows V for viva forever, and she knows how to spell "mama." And she knows how to spell "stop." Ans she knows wannabe begins with a "W". It cracks me up....
it's a bit crazy.
she just woke up and came and found me. "Mommy, i want to watch songs." only moments later, "Mommy i'm pee-pee-ing right now, but that's ok because i'm wearing a diaper."
To me, it's a bit odd to have a person in diapers singing, "if you wannabe my lover...."
