And when they were no longer beautiful, they’d need a replacement. That’s where she came in. She, in fact, dreaded the day when she’d no longer be seen as desirable. It was a hateful thought: to be looked upon as just another old woman, past the age of marriage and destined to live off of bon bons, stale donuts and instant coffee, desperatly using make up and age cream in an attempt to regain her long-lost youth. She could just see herself, and that’s what scared her.
