Another Day

Jul 01, 2004 22:42

Here I sit, waiting for Matt to come home from work. As I said in my title, another day. I got cussed out by one customer and called cross-eyed by another. That made my day complete. Tomorrow I'm going to order Matt's birthday present. I got him an annual pass to Busch Gardens. So, it's over a month early, oh well. We plan to go next Saturday. We are going to have such a great time. I look forward to all the time I spend with him. Who gets a second chance with a high school crush? This doesn't happen every day. I couldn't be happier. We're going to spend some time tomorrow together. However, I need to go to the bank and get registered for school first. I look forward to going back and am afraid at the same time. I miss learning but I fear how much I have forgotten over the year. I have become WAY too dependent on calculators. In other news, the new kitten is doing very well with Bonnie. If I can figure out how to do it, I will post some pictures of them both. Shadow is all black and Bonnie is a grey fluffy tabby. They're both young so they have tons of energy. That is both good and bad. However, I still think it's cute how excited they get over a paper ball. I can't wait until the presidential election is over. There is more mud slinging then in a pig pen at the county fair. I know this sounds simple, but is it so hard to just wish the opposing candidate well and know in your heart that the best man will win? Guess not. So much for my optimism. I hope my friends are doing well and are content in their lives. I just go by 3 things. Everything happens for a reason. If you don't like your life, change it... there is always room for improvement. Be thankful for what you have because things can ALWAYS get worse. These things have kept me afloat and served me well. Just some advice. Take it or leave it. I have so many goals, and only a lifetime to do them in. There are no guarantees in life. I go to sleep with a clear head and no grudges. You never know what will happen tomorrow.  I think that is enough for tonight. That completes my blast of optimism for the evening. Have a good night, ya'll.
