I was just looking at the website of the company that makes the prizes that are used in arcades in Japan and I was blown away by the amount of Prince of Tennis stuff that they made.
For the entire run of the anime (late 2002-mid 2005), every month they would make 3-4 new Prince of Tennis character goods sets. I have links with pictures to a few of character sets here (mostly plushie sets).
I should have gotten the Oishi one when I had the chance. ;_; Baka Zu!
My cute Ryoma in a Karupin suit plushie is not in the picture which is strange since he's suppose to be part of the first animal plushie set. I guess he was a special edition or something or maybe different areas of Japan had different Ryoma plushies. Since the Japanese go gah-gah over region specific special limited edition merchandise, I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case.

I have the Atobe and Fuji plushies from this set. I was thinking of getting the Oishi one but decided not to since the white would have gotten dirty so easily.

*___________* This set!!! I must have this entire set! It's like Atobe is the owner of a gay kitty host club and Inui is his ever reliable manager and the rest of them are hosts! And I absolutely adore all of the characters in this set! I MUST HAVE IT!
