"That Was A Good King!"
So... basically, today I sat in the intro lecture for children's lit, while one of my profs BLEW MY FRAGILE MIND talking about that erstwhile children's classic poem, Alligator Pie.
Apparently it's about the displacement of the First Nations people in Canada. I have a feeling that all my childhood preconceptions about these books are going to be ruthlessly stripped away by the end of this course. Still blows my mind.
Also, on unrelated note, spent about ALL DAY yesterday working on my Something is Rotten mix... it's over half-done. I'm actually excited because it's only been sitting on my hard drive(s) for TWO YEARS. Ohhh, Hamlet.
