"I'm your ketchup?"

So many jumbled things in my head. A pensieve would be handy about now.

I suppose we'll start with ... hm. christmas..es. yes.

Had a busy weekend (externship until 11pm on fri, clinic 10-7 on saturday) but headed to lansing nonetheless on saturday night to celebrate clay family christmas. this was quite a few weeks ago ... the 16th perhaps? i think so. but it was the weekend that my lovely sister Pam would be in town so there was no way i'd miss it! she had to work in the hospital over real christmas, so we made do with her off days and had a splendid time. the next day was HUGE clay family christmas ... as in matt's dad is one of TEN and they all live relatively close together and rent out a hall and party it up. so that was good times as well. drove back sunday night to catch a train monday morning to go to chicago to see rachel!! :) fun fun. her apartment is flippin sweet. stayed there until thursday and had many a fun time. i even got to see josh (the ex-future-brother-in-law) and that was awesome. i'm going to miss that kid a ton. i already do. but alas, thursday came and it was time to pile into rachel's S10 along with chris and head on home ... yes, that's right, 3 people in a little truck from chicago to lansing. our butts were happy to see home. hopefully i'll get to see rachel again before she has to head on back to the windy city. i miss her too.

Let's see now ... next was real christmas. we spent the saturday before at my parents' house for a mini Vosovic christmas (my parents, me and matt, nick and jayme ... and mikey of course) and that was lots of fun. we hung around for christmas eve, went to the evening service with my parents and then headed home to our apartment to have christmas just the two of us (and mikey) in our apartment. christmas day involved being lazy and absolutely just lounging and enjoying the break. which was quite lovely, i must say. i dont really remember a whole lot about the week in between. i know we went to lansing again for part of it and i got to see hilly and lizz and rachel a bit, which was wonderful.

Also, on the 29th I headed over to Liz E's house for a brunch with a TON of old holt friends! It was so much fun to see everyone again. So many stories and reminiscing and laughter. Wow. We should try to do that every year. then there was new years.

New Years ended up being at our apartment ... we had a few old cmu friends come down and stay the night (it had to only be a few because our place is friggin TINY) and that ended up being a lot of fun. it was george and julie (it was julie's birthday), chris and mattfain, todd, and kyle. matt may or may not have consumed a little too much alcohol, but we all had a blast until it was time for bed ... at which point two people's bodies said it was time to puke. ew. thankfully mine wasn't one of them.

On the 2nd I started up school again and it's actually kinda nice to be back in the swing of things. It's exciting and almost scary that this is my final term. After this I'll be DONE. That's just weird. Yet neat. But definitely still weird. I'm going to miss my school and everyone in it. It's already strange there without the old 4th quarter students there ... they're all graduated and moved on to new things. I'M the 4th quarter student now. There's nobody left above me. How strange.

I'm going to enjoy it while I'm still in it though, that's for sure. Take today for example ...
Todd: You were my conduit.
Andrea: What? Condiment? What are you talking about ... I'm your ketchup?

classic.
