That's exactly how I felt after reading and watching clips of Palin's speech. I know she's supposed to talk to the base . . . which is already problematic, but I wonder how non-base Repubs feel about it, because as an Independent who tends to vote more Democratically than not, I'm not liking what I've heard.
I'll get to McCain's speech later after I read it, but so far . . . it seems Palin>McCain in terms of accomplishing what he's set out to do.
