When reading a new webcomic in which order doesn't matter, I find it much more interesting to keep clicking "random" instead of progressing chronologically, even though the results are messy and often overlap and skip.

what if the comic has a small series within it, like xkcd often does? and i've tried that, but the repeats eventually drive me insane. plus now many include that handy button that takes you right to the first one.

If they're conveniently labeled part 2 of 5, I hit previous until I get the right one. Once I've done random enough times, I go sequentially. But I feel it gives me a fairer overview of the caliber of the comic as a whole to sample at random, instead of focusing on either earlier or later strips.
