Chickens
Ju was able to see chickens for the first time on Saturday, and I didn't have my camera. I was bummed! It was very entertaining to watch him try to catch them, though I did not allow the chase to go on more than five minutes because I felt sorry for the chickens.
The wonder and delight in his eyes in his first viewing of a living chcken (vs a picture) was amazing.
We will be going back to this mini farm in Sept, I hope there are some fresh eggs for him to see in the nest.
I would love to have a running farm for J to be able to experience the miracle of life first hand. PBS is great, but nothing compared to the real thing.
