Title: Don't Stop till it's Over
Pairing: Siwon/Sooyoung, Changmin/Sunhwa, Taeyeon/Tiffany, Changmin/Sooyoung; Sooyoung/Yoona, Yunho/Boa, Kyuhyun/Changmin, Sooyoung/Yuri, Changmin/Yoona, Taeyeon/Jessica, Kyuhyun/Sooyoung, Heechul/Hankyung
Rating: PG
Genre: Fluff, Angst, Drama
A/N: I never write author's notes before the actual work but this is an exception. This drabble set is inspired by some songs I randomly downloaded in my phone. They are exactly 100 words (ah I'm so proud of myself lol) so they can be quite dull to read. I suggest listening to the song prompts while reading them (I already put the links in the song title xD) to lessen the dullness (esp with the first drabble. SRSLY) haha
Reality (Richard Sanderson); Siwon/Sooyoung
The music starts when Sooyoung steps into the aisle. She looks lovely in her wedding dress that Siwon remembers the first day he saw her.
Bubbly, boyish, and rough. She was the thorniest rose of the bunch. But he didn’t mind. He was with her as she grew up; witnessed her loves, her heartbreaks, her entire life.
He smiles at the memory.
It has been years and there he is, standing proudly at the end of the aisle, waiting for his beautiful bride on the first day of the rest of their lives.
They were meant to be, after all.
Pumped-Up Kicks (Foster the People); Changmin/Sunhwa
They are standing against the wall of her dressing room, bodies connected on that sacred point few inches below their waists.
It happened quickly; but not fast enough.
Sunhwa gazes at her senior's face; closed eyes and forehead glistening as he moves. He looks down when he feels her staring.
"Kwanghee's finger does better." She states nonchalantly.
He looks offended and she smirks. Sunhwa, 1. Sunbae, 0.
The last thing she remembers is how his eyes turn darker before he sweeps her for a rough kiss. He moves faster until she is reduced to a dripping, mewling mess.
Changmin wins.
Breathe (Michelle Branch); Taeyeon/Tiffany
All that Tiffany can see from behind the car window are blurs of green and brown.
Her heartbeat drums along with the sound of the rain pattering against the roof of the car. She feels the adrenaline, the excitement, and the tiny hint of fear drowning in the mad rush of blood in her veins.
Taeyeon is tapping her fingers against the steering wheel. She is humming casually to the song blasting from the speakers as if it is just another day.
As if she didn't just ask Tiffany to run away with her.
Their eyes meet.
Everything is alright.
The Way I Am (Ingrid Michaelson); Changmin/Sooyoung
She reminds him of coffee buns and early weekday mornings.
He first sees her one Tuesday morning on the last week of his sixth semester and he wonders how he could have missed that tall girl with long, flowing hair and big, bright eyes during his years in the university.
So the next semester, Changmin makes sure he has at least five seven o' clock classes in his schedule. One whole week; just to match hers.
The smell of coffee buns greet him first.
"Good morning, Changmin." Sooyoung chirps happily.
He smiles to himself before turning around.
It's worth it.
My World (Avril Lavigne); Sooyoung/Yoona
Yoona isn't lying when she told Donghae earlier that evening that she has tons of homework to do.
He is cute and seems like a nice date but her Seoul University application is a more pressing concern.
A loud knocking on her window pane distracts her. She opens the window and is greeted by a grinning Sooyoung. Her helmet is askew and there are dried leaves all over her clothes.
"Hill. Meteor shower. Right now."
Yoona looks at the older girl's excited face and then at the piles of homework on her desk.
She beams.
"Lemme go get my jacket."
Dancing (Elisa); Yunho/Boa
Yunho’s hands are warm.
It is warmest when they are dancing together. The world fades into the background and all that is left is her and him.
Just like now.
Nothing else but the music and the two of them.
His smile sends her back to the present. Yunho raises her hands and plants a kiss on both. He tips his head and mouths her his thanks. BoA nods and swallows the lump on her throat.
It is all she could do to stop herself from crying when he lets go and walks back to where his bride stand waiting.
If Only She Knew (Michelle Branch); Kyuhyun/Changmin
>Changmin knocks on his door at 11 in the evening; breath reeking of alcohol and misery.
Kyuhyun carries the wasted man to his couch and tends to him. He listens to his latest heartbreak and consoles him time and time again.
Months later, he sits on the same couch; watching Victoria tenderly wipe bits of food off Changmin's lips and the latter rewarding her with a soft kiss.
Changmin's heart is whole once again and though it is him who mended it, it will never be his.
Kyuhyun smiles at them and goes on pretending that he is not hurting.
Moonriver (Audrey Hepburn); Sooyoung/Yuri
From: paboyoung
Boarding time. I miss you, stupid! Tell me you miss me too or I won't show myself to you when I get there.
To: paboyoung
Then don't. xP
From: paboyoung
so mean :|
To: paboyoung
Turn off your phone already! Haha
Yuri sobbed loudly as she re-read their last exchange again.
If she had known that the stupid plane would crash between Korea and Japan... she would tell her to go back. To wait a few days more and that she would endure another day of missing her.
To: paboyoung
Yah, I was just joking. :’(
I miss you so much, Sooyoungie.
Till I Get Over You (Michelle Branch); Changmin/Yoona
Yoona loves the sunset.
She would often go to the beach just to watch the day die.
The sea breeze is cold so Changmin would wrap his arm around her lithe body. She would lean her head against his chest, listen to his heartbeat, and let his fingers play with the strands of her hair.
He would whisper his I love yous, lace his fingers against hers, and kiss her forehead tenderly.
She would cry and remember that it's all over.
How he could have let it go so easily, Yoona would never understand.
Tomorrow, she'll come back here again.
I Know I Know I Know (Tegan and Sara); Taeyeon/Jessica
Jessica does not even bat an eyelash as the door slams shut behind her. She gives a thrifty sigh and goes on sipping her cup of tea.
It is not the first time it happens.
Winter evenings are cold but she wakes up in the middle of the night to the warmth of a body lying next to her.
Taeyeon wraps an arm around her waist and whisper words against her hair.
"I'm sorry."
Jessica pulls her closer and says nothing else. Her happy tears slide down the side of her face; falling like tiny flowers blooming against the pillowcase.
Beautiful Girl (Jose Mari Chan); Kyuhyun/Sooyoung
That day, Kyuhyun learned that trying to finish a medium-sized latté for more than thirty minutes requires unmeasurable amount of determination.
He could've ordered a new cup but his wallet already gave its verdict.
"One cappucino for Miss Summer.”
After fifteen minutes of waiting, he finally learned something useful: her name.
She was sitting alone and even if Kyuhyun wanted to sit with her, shyness was a strong deterrent. Hence, he just contented himself by stealing glances at her from behind the accounting book he was pretending to read.
I'll be braver next time around.
He never saw her again.
I Miss You (Incubus); Heechul/Hankyung
Beijing is colder than Seoul.
Some friend of him from long ago used to tell him that a lot. He never listened.
His breath mists in front of him and he wonders why the hell did he agree meeting this person in this solitary park during the middle of winter.
Heechul curses under his breath and pulls the scarf tighter around his neck.
“You’re still as stubborn as you were ten years ago.”
His heart skips upon hearing the voice and he feels something warm trickle from his eyes. He turns around to Hangeng’s smile.
“How are you, old friend?”
