The cold morning air pricked her skin as the sky turned a paler shade of blue in the horizon. She knew she should have worn something heavier but she hadn’t. She was after all, supposed to be light as a feather, light as a feather, light as a feather. His words reverberated somewhere in the deep chasms of her subconscious as she stretched her arm and inhaled a gust of fresh air. Ah, mornings…
She was never really a morning person. But, things do change.
Things change as time goes, impermanent like grains of sand on an hourglass. They fade away like how the cool breeze of dawn reminiscent of the night’s last breath melts away as the first rays of sun paints the earth a warm hue of golden hope.
It was this particular time, when the spilt ink of the night sky streams back to the impalpable flask where it came from that she first saw him. His eyes closed, face looking up to the sky, and his long arms stretched out beside him. He moved gracefully like beads of sunlight seeping through dusty alleyways and busy city streets sweeping remnants of nights lost and yesterdays forever gone. From then on, she would wake up earlier than she did back in her grade school years when mothers would replace alarm clocks snoozed by lazy ten-year olds just to get them off bed.
It took her a while to gather courage and talk to him.
Talk they did. And more. He is a ballet dancer and he came somewhere far. He left his family ten thousand miles away from the coasts of Seoul with a promise of returning back and taking them away from the way of life they use to live. He came here to live a life-long dream, to carve his destiny.
She was part of that destiny. But her role was done.
Things change, they fade away. And just like those precious little minutes when day and night collide, they get lost in the blink of an eye as the sun takes its place in the sky. He was gone.
It took her a long time to love mornings again and she’s taking it slowly and surely. He was gone but the dreams he unwittingly shared to her still remains. He was gone but his dreams weren’t lost with him. She picked up the remaining fragments of those hopes believing that through her, they will come true.
She stretched out her limbs and looked down on the cityscape before her, savoring the view of lined skyscrapers like a thousand poised fingers reaching out to touch the bright blue sky.
In her silent reverie, she will meet him again.

Name: Dusk
Character: Donghae
Rating: G
Genre: Drama (?)
There’s a reason why he makes his way through crowds, along sun-burnt pavements, and heaving sidewalks. He has never mentioned it to anyone else. It can also be because nobody did care to ask.
But he doesn’t mind it one bit. It’s a secret only he and that deserted underpass share.
He is a wanderer. He has been to places nobody thought he’d go. He was often quoted saying that if he would trust his life on something, it would be on his own two feet. He has knelt, jumped for joy, skipped, tripped, stumbled, fell, and stood up with them. He has crossed rivers, climbed mountains, passed rough roads, slid on puddles, and walked miles. He had lost count of nursing bruised knees, mending twisted ankles, and healing sore toes. He had tried them all.
Life is a blur and he’s skipping through it. He skips and jumps in line with the beat of time, not daring to catch a fleeting moment and stopping only when he finds it too interesting to be left behind and forgotten.
He is always moving. From the moment the city loses its flickering nightlights in exchange for the brightness of that huge ball of fire trapped in the glassy heavens, he stirs in motion. His two feet, having minds of their own, bring him to new places, offer him new sights to see, and show him more of life to breath.
He has been a wanderer for as long as he remembered. He never stays in one place for long but there’s something in this city that keeps him from leaving. It’s as if his two feet has grown roots and has emotionally attached themselves to the mass-trodden streets of Seoul.
The city bursts with life and along with the dying of the sun, it slowly settles. He walks away tired and weary but as he nears that underpass, his old friend, he feels his body come alive again. He skips and jumps again, now in line with the beat of his soul. He starts to dance. Unaware and uninterested of the glances and glares of a few passersby.
Here in this dusty, old underpass, like it has always been, he shares his secret to anyone willing to listen and watch. He closes his eyes and moves, skips, jumps...
This time, letting his soul do the wandering.

The cold morning air pricked her skin as the sky turned a lighter shade of dark blue in the horizon. She knew she should have worn something heavier but she hadn’t. It has only been a while since she started doing this but everything is going fine as of the moment. It was difficult at first but gradually, she learned to enjoy it.
She was surprised when she looked at herself in the mirror. Her smile is back. That genuine smile which she thought she’d lost forever on that certain August morning when dawn failed to break and the heavens painted itself black as it poured its wrath to the tormented city. She still believes that it was the sky which first brought her the news of his goodbye.
But the sky is a clear blue quilt now. And later, when the friendly bands of sunbeams arrive, everything will be full of colors.
She stretched out her limbs and looked down on the cityscape before her, savoring the view of lined skyscrapers like a thousand poised fingers reaching out to touch the bright blue sky. She raised her hands and started dancing to the music only she can hear.
He is a wanderer. He has been to places nobody thought he’d go. He was often quoted saying that if he would trust his life on something, it would be on his own two feet.
He was never really the type who gives out his smile to anyone, but something just can’t keep him from not smiling today. He strolls down his usual path along the suburbs, looking out to the throngs of people living out just another day unaware of what might possibly lay on the road ahead. He lays his chin on his hand and heaves out a sigh.
He has been to many places and nothing has kept him stay there for long, but somehow, for some reason, he is still stuck in the same city enjoying the same view and looking at the same people for more than a year now. There’s a strong feeling of wanting to go but there’s a deeper sense of holding on. It’s an internal battle he faces everyday. To which he decides the verdict at the end of the day but all with the same decision: stay.
Life is a blur and he’s skipping through it. He skips and jumps in line with the beat of time, not daring to catch a fleeting moment and stopping only when he finds it too interesting to be left behind and forgotten. He catches himself smiling again and wonders whether today would just be the same as all the other days before.
The city bursts with life and along with the dying of the sun, it slowly settles. Somewhere under shady canopies and faint street lights, his wanderings would end and she would meet someone who will dance with her again.

YES, it's inspired from the Seoul CF. And YES, it's a spur-of-the-moment fic once again. I, myself, am surprised with this sudden "pairing" too but these two are my faves from both groups and I believe it's unfair to not write something about them. I am half-asleep while typing this so I apologize for any wrong grammar or whatnot. Point it out and I'll edit later.
