cuz i'm the tax man

So yesterday I went to the psychiatrist. She has decided to go more aggressively with the zoloft (basically tripling my dosage). *fingers crossed*
My therapist was out sick :( but I'm going back in another two weeks. Oh, but in the waiting room I met this woman (Linda) who sounded like she was dying from plague. She told me she didn't make friends easily, and then told me all of her troubles and all about her life and what's going on with her family and her friend who passed away from cancer a few years ago... I told her I find it difficult to believe that she doesn't make friends easily. :P

And since I was already fairly north I stopped by @Cap and said hi to a few folks. And when I got home I put dishes in the dishwasher and did a load of laundry. So I am paying for all of that this morning. I've got another epidural happening today so I won't be able to do much of anything for a couple days, it was important to ensure clean clothes and dishes. I'm thinking I should probably put some of the ice in the freezer into a cooler. One less thing to reach over my head to get is a good thing.
I am not looking forward to my doc's response when I tell him I wasn't able to see a neurosurgeon. He's recommended like ten different doctors now. None of them accept third-party litigation and ALL of them charge upwards of $400 for an initial visit. Bleh. Maybe when I get my settlement I'll be able to do this.

I also FINALLY received my 1099R from T Rowe Price. (The last documentation I needed to file my taxes.) So I filed my taxes!! Yay!!
For the first time in probably 15 years, I again qualify for the EIC. Of course, it was like ~$50 from the fed and three whole american dollars from the state. :P
But that's in addition to a fairly decent refund. So that's okay. (It will easily cover my license plate renewal, for example.) FWIW, I used TurboTax to file, as I have done in years past. I recommend it.

Also in the mail was a notice of impending charge off from carmax. Basically, the amount remaining on my loan is going to be sold off to a collection agency. "Your credit will be negatively affected." Heh. Yeah. Like it's not already in the toilet. The silver lining of all my debts going to collections is that by the time I am able to pay them off, the collection agencies will be trying to negotiate settlement at a discount.

Annnnnnnd... that's all I know.
