I know I am dead because a certain finance company
(/cough HFC /cough)
have sent a letter to the executor of my estate, asking for a copy of my death certificate so that they can arrange settlement of my account.
Does this make me a ghost writer? (boom tish!)
I am being flippant to avoid any possibility of distress since I might then have to apply for compensation. And there are probably hideous complicated rules against paying out money to the dead. Whatever next?
