Pit Bull underground railroad
Ok. So I just heard about this. Denver has a policy of banning all Pit Bulls within the city. If you own one and they find out it will be taken away and probably killed. This law has passed because of all the deaths that have happened concerning Pit Bulls. Once again this is an infringement on our freedoms but this post is not about that. There is an organization called The Pit Bull Underground Railroad who talks to owners of Pit Bulls and offers a service to sneak their pets out of the city so they won't be taken away and killed. SOO, on the news tonight, there was a story about this service and the citizens of Denver who are apalled about the name of this organization. They can't believe that these people call themselves The Underground Railroad. They think that this is treading on sacred ground and belittling the whole slavery thing. They have forced this woman to change the name of her organization because they think it is WRONG! Are you people freakin kidding me?? She is paying homage to the underground railroad by saying it WAS A GOOD THING to help the slaves. Just like she feels she is doing a good thing by saving these dogs. Why the fuck are people so sensitive. I know slavery was wrong! Most good people do. Naming your company after good people that did honorable things should not be blasted in the news! People need to get a life and worry about things that really fucking matter.
