Dear Mr. Cute English Teacher,

Clearly, you're an English teacher, and clearly, I think you are cute. Very cute. You have this way of also making me feel very...pretty. I know I'm not ugly, but the way you look at me makes me feel quite attractive, and it's a very flattering feeling. At first I wasn't interested in you because the way you smiled at me when we first met, all the way back in October, made me think you were cocky and full of yourself, as if I already thought you were hot stuff... but now I see that you are actually very nice. I haven't felt this giddy about a guy in a long time. Sorry if I was a jerk the other day, when you made a student wait while you asked me questions about my job plans for next year, but I inadvertently ignored you because I was distracted with a task already in mind. I'm awkward around guys, and I know that's a really poor excuse, but I also don't want to seem unprofessional in the workplace. So pardon me for not properly showing my interest.

I can't get you off my mind. Thinking about you gives me this nice warmth that brings a smile to my face.

I have a good feeling about you and I am going to ask you out for coffee. Don't disappoint me. When I asked you if you can do something for me and you said "Anything," (which just made my knees wobble) I hope you mean it (even if it was in front of your students)...and say "yes" to coffee :). Please don't have a girlfriend and please be worth my effort and time.

Yours truly,

The substitute teacher
