(no subject)
So yesterday evening, jaannonymous and I spontaneously decided to watch The Avengers after we caught the Australian production of A Chorus Line (which I'll blog about soon) at Marina Bay Sands and despite the fact that we could only get seats that were 4 rows from the front, IT WAS GLORIOUS.
I legit wanted to jump around and clap my hands after the movie was done.
Because I do not want to offend The Avengers fans because I only know the basics about the fandom, I'm just going to do this blog post in point form.
1) I really wish I hadn't watched the Loki'd video before watching the movie because everytime Hiddles came on the screen, THAT WAS ALL I SAW.
2) Not gonna lie, I kinda let out a very quiet whimper with a huge grin on my face when Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans finally appeared on screen together because THE NANNY DIARIES FEELS.
3) I guess people in Asgard are too busy fighting to have a decent barber because the split ends on Thor and Loki's hair?
4) I also wish I hadn't seen that video of Hiddles impersonating Chris-squared because I spent the first half of the movie staring at Chris Hemsworth's arm muscle vein and inwardly cheered at Chris Evans' arm muscle vein because he finally achieved it!
5) THANK YOU MARK RUFFALO FOR REDEEMING THE HULK'S DIGNITY. Third time's a charm after the damage that was the first two.
6) I'm so glad that the girls in the movie kick ass as much as the guys. It IS Joss Whedon so we shouldn't have expected anything less. Speaking of which, the movie reminds me of Transformers: The Ride. Not the movie, the ride. THE AWESOME RIDE.
7) Speaking of Joss Whedon, obviously someone in the movie dies. WHY JOSS, WHY?!
8) Hawkeye is just dreamy. Jeremy Dreamy Renner.
9) Chris Evans, I never met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, WILL YOU PLEASE FREAKING CALL ME?!
10) I need to watch this movie again. I NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE AGAIN.
