I guess theres no better way to start a thing like this then to tell you a little bit about myself.
From the beginning.
My fondest memory growing up has to be 'lamb chops' on saturday mornings, followed by a trip to the beach. Ive always loved the ocean, i guess it comes with being australian.
But after the days of 'lamb chops' were gone. The days of school soon replaced it. My friends before school basically consisted of my neighbours. But we went our different ways. They went to private schools. Me to a public school. We made new friends. New interests. A new beginning.
My primary school days were muddled. I swaped friends like i changed my underpants. Looking back at kindergarten... i remember alot of kiss and catch spunky Justin Cranny. He was never interested in the girls. He just kept kicking the soccer ball around. But... still. He was... i guess... my first love.
Then i turned my eyes to someone a little more mature. Aaron.... i dont remember his last name. Im not 100% certain what happened with that. But im sure i got my heart broken. I saw him when i went to high school, and my older brother was kind enough to point me out to him. Thanks bro.
Anyway. I settled down in year 3. Where i came pretty close to a group of friends. There were 5 of us. Louise, Renae, Renee, Alex and myself. I dont understand how we became friends. We were all so different.
Louise was fairly outgoing, but she wanted to grow up really fast. She didnt want to run around with us at lunch time. She would rather sit around and gossip.
Renae was quiet. Anything i did, renae did. But she was my best friend. We still are.
Renee was also fairly quiet, but shes fairly strong minded and quite opinionated for her age. She was the most mature of us.
Alex... well... she cried at the drop of a hat, she also did what ever i did. But i had no time for alex. She was like a bad smell.
The last few years of primary school flew by for me. I went over to europe for a few months, and had my first taste of other cultures. I also got my first pony. Amber, a shetland quaterhorse cross. She was beautiful. But, as young people do, i grew really fast. And, for the best, i said a teary goodbye to Amber, and watched her walk away into the arms of another family.
After Amber left, i started riding at some stables on a horse called Holly. I didnt want to compete, but my instructor wanted holly in competition, and she wanted me to ride her. About a month before my big debut, i had a fall and broke my arm. I was out of action for about 3 months. But didnt return to those stables.
After that i stoped riding regularly.
Highschool. Another friend pool. Me and renee were the only 2 from our little group to go to my high school. Renae and louise went to the same. And Alex, went to the dark side. Private school.
Ive never overly liked the people at my school. Its so cliquey. Ive never been a social outcast, but i still dont feel accepted. Only recently have i found a group of friends i feel comfortable with. One person in there... is renee, my primary school buddy.
This year, me and renae went to Europe together. We saved our cash and went and stayed with her sister in Notting Hill, who took us to Paris. Then we stayed at some other of her family in Ireland. I loved everything about London, Paris and Ireland. But most of all. I loved the feeling that i got from it. I saved my money to get there.
Who said money cant buy happiness?
At the moment im single. Me and my neighbours are now quite good friends again. And im working at KMART. Im doing my final exams for year 11. Then im in year 12. My final year. I cant wait.
At school, my hsc subjects (the ones i do in years 11 and 12) are English (adv), 2 unit Maths, Art, Society and Culture, Geography, and Entertainment.
These days I dont ride very oten. One of my close friends owns 2 horses, so when i can, i go riding with her. But now, horses arent my only interest. I love photography and Art, I love going to the Beach, I love swimming and running around, I love Music, I love Concerts.
So i guess thats it. Welcome to my life.
