Its 5:03 am and I'm wide awake. I have to be at my store in 3 hours so I don't really see the need to sleep.
Daniel's cousin died yesterday so we'll be going to the funeral this afternoon. Its a sad situation, especially for the family members and one that could have been avoided for the most part. He had medical issues but also abused painkillers so its really hard to tell what the cause was. He was an only child and that makes it so tragic.
Life has been busy as hell at work and at home. Daniel is almost done with his first semester of grad school...one down, one to go. He's doing exceptionally well and I am so, so proud. Work is good for me too. I got a promotion that I didn't expect at all and my store is doing great. I love retail management, I don't care what anyone says :) On the down side, Black Friday is upon us and I have to be at the store at 4 in the morning. Yuck.
I guess I'm all out of steam. No sleep makes for weak blog updates. I'm going to drink a few more cups of green tea and then tackle today.
