Today I bought:
2 swords
2 throwing axes
1 dagger
4 flip knives
6 sword letter openers
5 throwing knives
The downside is when I looked more closely at the sweet dagger mounted to a plaque? I recognize the letters as being from one of Tolkien’s alphabets. How? Not sure, since I’ve never made it through any of his books. I’m guessing it’s from seeing the ring on too many posters. I’m not against LotR but I don’t like merchandise for things I’m not a fan of. But it’s really nice. After much googling I found out it’s Frodo’s Sting Sword:

The upside is that once I had a chance to closely inspect the other sword I got home and figure out what the writing was, turned out to be Runic. I can’t read Runic, but I recognize it and I’ve always really been interested by Runes.
The letter openers are strong enough to be little knives. Or maybe GI Joe weapons.
I need to build some sort of target for my throwing knives and axes.
The knives are special. They had four animals and three turned out to be mine and my parent’s guide animals (a bear, an eagle, a wolf) so I got one for each of us.
Oh and my mom brought me home a ton of souvenirs from Jasper, including a bear knife!
