Shortly after my post yesterday I apologized to Carrie and she readily accepted it. Your advice was spot on, Jackie! Thank you. She just said that little things like that don’t matter to friends. It was sweet.
I’m really digging this ‘best friend’ thing. It sort of came out of nowhere and man, I haven’t had a best friend in a long time.
And I know we aren’t really best friends yet. This isn’t some lesbian friendship version of the U-Haul syndrome. I just think, maybe, we will be. And I like that idea a lot.
