HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! I love the 4th. When I was little my family *cousins, aunts, uncles* would all rent a condo and spend the weekend together. It was always pretty small, but all 15 of us fit. It was always so much fun. I guess we kinda grew out of that, and everyone went on their own way and everything. But they're all coming to my house tomorrow, so it'll still be a lot of fun. I'm really excited about it. I baked a cake and some HOMEMADE cookies for tomorrow. And we're also celebrating the July birthdays tomorrow as well! Yay! Party for me and Matt tomorrow, and we get fireworks! Woo Whoo! I'll be heading back to t-town tomorrow around 3 or so. Last day of first semester is Thursday, then second semester begins Tuesday, suckfest. I'm taking two classes in July, Media Law and Reporting. I really liked my Creative Writing class this semester, but I'm not looking forward to Media Law. Dreading that one already.
I talked to Joshua today!!! I was so excited! I haven't talked to him since he left for basic training after Spring semester. He called today, he was on his was somewhere for Technical School or something. Anyway - it was good to hear from him.
I watched the Live8 Concert yesterday. Well not all of, it was like 9 hours, but I watched Green Day and some of Madonnas concerts. They were pretty good. Linkin Park wasn't too great though. And Green Day did "We are the Champions", and it was really lame. Put I think the whole Live8 thing is a really awesome idea. I'm sure it helped millions of people.
We went and saw "War of the Worlds" on Dan's birthday, I liked it a bunch. Then I went with my dad and saw it Friday. I'm turning into a movie-dork. If I get as bad as Channy, ahem... Mr. Boswell, someone let me know.
I have officially seen the first two episodes of "Real World" like three times. I guess I'll be watching this season... However, some of this is really annoying. The Melinda whore is all "Danny, we just have such a strong connection, blah blah blah." They've been there two days. They have a strong connection in that he's hot and she's a slut. Anyway - now I'm just blabbing. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful, spectacular Fourth of July! And there should be no aiming of the Roman candles at people or cars. And there should be no dropping of the Roman Candles in street b/c FYI: they tend to shoot and spin and there's no way of knowing which way they go. And one last thing addressed to my sister: A sparkler WILL set off two hundred firecrackers. I love you all! Happy Fourth of July!!!
