One of my favorite movies of all time is Batman, the original 1989 version. Tim Burton's version of the Dark Knight is so deep and powerful and cannot be equaled. Batman Begins was okay but I thought it had some serious flaws, mainly in the fact that they made The Wayne's deaths Bruces fault, his father did not fight back, and Bruce just runs away from his problems. Now Dark Knight is coming out in 2008. Bale is returning as Batman but The Joker is being played by Heath Ledger?!?! You go from Jack Nicholson to Heath Ledger? It is wonderful seeing the movie selling out by placing two young attractive stars in these roles. Nice draw in the young screaming teenie boppers, to bad you destroy what the whole thing is supposed to be about.
