Holy Mess, i bet you will not believe what I'm gonna be writing for a few entries.
Firstly I am Married.......yeah you read it i got Married. She is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me with the exception of Michigan Football and my Mom's cooking. we actually met at my first base (Travis AFB in CA). What can I say, I love a woman in uniform. Something about a girl that can shoot that makes me go from 6 to 12 if ya know what I mean. some of you may also remember that I was "thinking hard and long about joining the Air Force , well on July 1, 2008 I started my military career. I currently work as Heavy's Aircraft Maintainer on the KC-10 airframe. Its hard work and a but load of information , especially as a Communication Navigation Specialist (Comm/Nav is the Military term or Pointy Head as the crew chiefs call us).
Right now I am actually hundreds of thousands of mile away from my wife and new home in California. It sucks because I'm away from my lovely wife Devon and I'm trying to deal with it the best I can. Its been a rough time emotionally for the both of us and we will actually miss our first anniversary because of my deployment. I'm sure we will make up all the missed time in a hurry when I get back in October.
Over the last few Years I have also made a bunch of good military friends,drank at a crazy amount of bars in different cities and seen amazing things. As much as i despise certain aspects of my job i would never have it any other way. The military has brought me Confidence; a constant income; college credits and last but not least my Beautiful wife.....and my retarded dog Casey James who i love as much as he pisses me off.
