Something I've Never Done Before (Doctor's Orders)
Hey All...
I promised that I would keep everyone updated on my progress over the next few months - So I guess that means both the good news and the bad news.
The past few weeks I have been doing everything I could to rest up in the hopes that I would be back to my old self in a matter of weeks. When I left the hospital in Austin, I had thought that I would have a few weeks of rest then I'd be back on my feet again.
Unfortunately things haven't been that simple...
I have had a few complications that go along with the words "heart attack" that I had never planned on. Before anyone gets too worried, it's nothing serious. Just one of those things that has put my progress back a few weeks.
It also means that I will have to cancel my appearance at NakaCon this weekend.
I had really hoped that If I rested, took my medicine everyday and all of that...I wouldn't have to do the one thing I've tried to avoid all these years. I really hate the idea of letting anyone down, let alone an extended family that I only get to see once in a while. I really hope that it's a great con and that everyone has a blast with Chuck, Brina, Todd, Chris, Leah and the entire staff.
If you are anywhere near the Kansas City area, please show and and have a good time for me. Because I could be anywhere this weekend...It would totally be there.
