i used to find it really annoying when i'd look on someone's profile, and they'd have 40987652486754 pictures from the same event.
i'm not annoyed by it anymore. now i look at it as more of memories in the making.
i think it's sharing those memories with others as well, but i think it's mostly for the people involved.
whether or not they stay friends for the rest of their lives, or only for the next 3 months, they'll look back at those photos and remember how much fun they had.
it's pretty much unintentional photojournalism. which, i think, is really cool.
people are photojournalizing their lives and don't even realize it.
that's one good thing i've seen come from social networking sites.
there are definitely more, but that's all i'm going to say for now.
