(no subject)
So God's been working overtime I think. Thankfully, though.
My roommate nearly got in a horrible car crash when her axel broke and her wheel fell off while she was going 65 mph on 390. Instead of flipping or swerving into traffic the wheel lodged right side upish underneath the car, slowing her to a stop. Which was lucky because the axel cut her breaks when it snapped. A man and his wife stopped to help her, and she was hysterical. She said she was lucky to have a guardian angel (I got her one for her car visor for her bday, I guess it worked :P).
Today I experienced my first car slide. Oh boy that was fun. Granted I was kinda zoning and thinking about getting to Justin's house and then BAM my car (or shall I say my MOMS car?!) hits a patch of slush and veers into the other lane. Luckily both my hands were on the wheel and after some slight swerving I got control of the car again. Talk about a wake up call, kinda like a sharp "Pay Attention Doofus!" but it worked.
I'm going to the mall tomorrow! Can't wait to see the jazz band play and meet up with the band geeks. It should be mega fun :)
