Mehhh...
I broke my clock this morning. By accident of course. And this time it wasn't even the whole "battery fallingout of the backside because I lost the cover ages ago" kind of thing. No, this time I went all out, and the minute hand is currently resting at the bottom of the..thing a bob. And I broke the little silver hand that points to the time you want to wake up. Right now it says exactly 6 o clock. oOo, and if you shake it, it rattles.
Methinks I need a new clock.
Too bad I don't have any money to get a new one yet. Damn. So there goes my nap for today, and on the day that I have like 4 hours between classes too. Double damn.
So yeah, speaking of money, despite the fact that I hate it and think that the world is becoming a little too dependent on the paper and coin symbols of power and success, I'm dead broke. I haven't gotten a paycheck yet from work (I'm due about 300+ dollars, so when I do get it, it'll be sweet.), but now that I have my payroll info and my timecards in, I should get the check any day now. Both my debit cards are dwindling, but my dad is going to be putting another 150 on the one he gave me, even though I told him not too. He really does spoil me too much. But I'm not complaining ;)
I'm starting to feel a little bit better since Chisty passed away, my friends have been really supportive, and I love them to death. My friend James gave me flowers because I ended up crying in front of him and my other friend when my other cousin called me. They're really pretty, and I pormise I won't eat them...well, maybe one. (jk) The calling hours are today and the funeral is tomorrow, but I'm still stuck in the ROC..my grades are bad enough as it is to take time off, even if it is a family thing.
Speaking of school, I've already began deciding on my classes for next semester. I still have to sign up for an appt with my advisor, hopefully sometime this week because i got an email from my student supervisor at work saying we might register early so ITS can plan the work schedules around our classes. Hurrah for priority. So yeah, College Writing 2, Intermediate Spanish 2, Drawing 2, and 2D Design are basically givens because they are the supplements to the classes I'm already taking. Except for 2D, because I'm taking 3D right now, but we have to take both this year, despite what order. I'm also going to take Thinking Mathematically because I'm a complete ignoramus when it comes to numbers. I couldn't even balance my checkbook right with a calculator, because apparently everything DOES balance out when I ended up with like 6 different numbers. No joke.
As I write this at 12:20 pm, there's a boy sleeping in our room. He came over last night and like, never left. I've left the room no less than three times, my roomates all out to classes, and everytime I come back the door is still locked, and he's still sleeping. It makes me wonder if he has any classes today, but I don't want to wake him up. *shrug* Oh well, it doesn't really bother me, I'm just kinda jealous that he can sleep and I cannot. Damn clock.
I think that's a good enough rant for now, I'll add more when I think of it.
